Help us kick off Broken Ground's Mycology Month with a myco-centric film night.
The event will feature a collection of short films that illustrate the astounding array of interconnectivity between fungi and the systems in which they thrive. We'll see fungi, fungiphiles, and feats of fungal feasting on substances you wouldn't believe!
Films shown will include:
An excerpt from Fantastic Fungi: The Forbidden Fruit
This is a clip from the upcoming feature documentary from Moving Art by Louie Schwartzberg following notable mycologist, Paul Stamets, as he discusses the important role mushrooms play in the survival and health of the earth and human species.
This documentary by Bozeman Local Madison McClintock, of Nestbox Collective, is an invitation to explore the fascinating world of mushrooms. By attending mushroom forays and fungus festivals, talking to a plethora of individuals from mycologists to artists, business men to locovore chefs Mycophilia will paint a vivid picture of the secret life of mushrooms and its admirers.
